Buster was raised on the
6666 Ranch, near Guthrie,
TX, and has since cowboyed
on most of the big outfits
in that area.
In 1984, the 6666 hired Ray
Hunt to help start the
ranch's colts. Ray's
methods and ideas were all
new to Buster, but he says,
"It didn't take long to
figure out that Ray could
get horses to do things I
didn't even know a horse
could do!" Thus began
a friendship that lasted 25
years.
Buster started giving
clinics for the public in
1996, and he and Sheryl
spend much of each year
traveling the country
helping people with their
horses. He and Sheryl
have been married over 30
years and live on their own
place west of Paducah, TX.
They have two daughters,
Tiffany of Louann, AR and
Misty of Alpine, TX.
