Wayne Robinson grew up in
Australia and started
breaking colts at age 13.
By the time he was 17, it
was a full-time job.
Later on, he attended a Ray
Hunt clinic and it changed
his life. After the
clinic was over, the master
horseman invited Robinson to
the United States to work
with him. Robinson
considers Hunt his mentor.
"As far as I'm concerned,
he's the best horseman
that's ever lived," said the
trainer. "The feel he
can get on a 2 year old is
unbelievable."
Last December, hemade the
NCHA Furtuirty Open finals
on two horses: Natalie
Rey, owned by him and Jody,
and Dual Afcionado, owned by
Katin. Wayne and Jody
