The Ray and Carolyn Hunt Family Archive is the culmination of decades of work shared by Ray and Carolyn Hunt. Every clinic, every video, and every lesson was organized with a commitment to the horse that the family continues to uphold today. We are currently curating the official history of these efforts to ensure they are documented with the accuracy and respect they deserve.

These images and materials are shared exclusively for your personal, non-commercial viewing. This strictly prohibits use by:

  • Unauthorized Non-Profit Entities: Permission is not granted to non-profit organizations, foundations, or "tribute" groups to use these materials for fundraising, solicitation of donations, public events, or any activities that suggest an official endorsement, partnership, or affiliation with the Ray Hunt Estate where none exists.

  • Commercial & Educational Ventures: The use of the Ray Hunt name, likeness, or the "Think"™ philosophy for promotion is strictly reserved.

Non-profit status does not constitute a license to misappropriate the Ray Hunt brand or intellectual property. The Ray and Carolyn Hunt Family reserves all rights of publicity and will pursue legal remedies against any entity—charitable or otherwise—engaging in unauthorized commercial exploitation or deceptive solicitation practices.

Official Notice: Non-Profit & Foundation Restrictions

Notice Regarding Charitable Solicitations and Foundations:

The Ray Hunt Estate and the family of Ray and Carolyn Hunt have not granted any non-profit organization, 501(c)(3) entity, or private foundation the right to use Ray Hunt’s name, likeness, or trademarked "Think"™ philosophy for fundraising or promotional purposes.

At this time, there are NO authorized third-party foundations or scholarship funds sanctioned by Carolyn Hunt. Any entity soliciting donations or selling "charitable" merchandise under the Ray Hunt name is doing so without the consent of the Estate. We advise our community to exercise extreme caution: non-profit status is not a license to misappropriate a legacy or bypass trademark law. The Ray and Carolyn Hunt Family will vigorously defend against "deceptive trade practices" where a non-profit designation is used to create a false association.

The scraping, reposting, or distribution of these photos / videos / written word for digital exploitation, self-promotion, or to generate "content" for social media, personal, non-profit and commercial websites, social media platforms, bricks and mortar storefronts, tradeshow/vendor booths and education centers is strictly prohibited. We are proud to host this Collection; however, original copyrights remain with the respective professional photographers or their estates.

  • For Fans, Students: We encourage the sharing of Ray Hunt’s wisdom. You are welcome to quote Ray Hunt and refer to his "Think"™ philosophy for personal, non-commercial, and educational purposes (such as personal social media posts, student reports, or personal blogs), provided that you give proper attribution to Ray Hunt and link back to rayhunt.com.

    For Commercial and Non-Profit Professional Use: The use of "Think"™ or the Ray Hunt logo in connection with the sale of goods, equestrian education, horse training clinics/workshops/in-person and remote, seminars, events or any other commercial or non-profit services is strictly prohibited without a formal licensing agreement from Carolyn Hunt. Use of these marks in a way that suggests an official endorsement, affiliation, or partnership with the Ray and Carolyn Hunt family where none exists is a violation of our trademark rights.

  • The family-contributed photos, commercial and home videos are the property of Carolyn Hunt. While personal viewing is always welcome, formal licensing is required for all other uses. This process ensures that proceeds directly benefit the family while allowing us to maintain oversight and preserve the integrity of Ray and Carolyn Hunt’s history.

  • Join us in keeping the foundation of Ray Hunt’s work alive. Reach out if you would like to submit image copies, alongside your written recollections, for consideration of entry into the official Legacy Archive.
